Tornados damaged paths can go up to one mile wide and 50 miles long. There was a sigh in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, that a tornado carried a motel sigh 30 miles and dropped it in Arkansas. There speed is between 40 mph and 110 mph. They are one of the worlds greatest storms. And can damage a lot. But how much they do damage is up to the size of the tornado.
Water spouts are the same as tornados but they form on the water. There size is from a few feet to more than a mile in height and from a few feet to hundreds of feet wide. Water Spouts can move any were 2-80 miles in about an hour. It spirals around about 60-120 miles per hour.

Hey Hannah,
ReplyDeleteI research the largest tornado ever and found that it was the Tri-State Tornado of 1925. This tornado's surpassed the average width of tornadoes. This tornado spiraled on the ground for 219 miles! The tornado crossed into Missouri, Southern Illinois, and southwestern Indiana.
